Open Day 25th of November

25th of November from 11:00 to 17:00 Red Cross is organising an exciting open house event in our headquarters in Stiðjagøta 6, Tórshavn.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet volunteers, see how second-hand clothes are collected, sorted, and priced, learn how the Samaritans function, and learn about our projects in the Faroes and internationally - this year, there will be a very relevant presentations on the rules of war and the Red Cross' work in conflict zones (one in English). For the kids, it will also be possible to attend children’s first aid (sign-up here).

The second-hand shop in Stiðjagøta 6 will also be open from 10.00 to 17.00 with lots of nice clothes and special offers.

Additionally, we’ll sell coffee, hot chocolate and cake – all profits go to the Red Cross.
