Open Day 29th of October

29th of October from 11:00 to 17:00 Red Cross is organising an exciting open house event in our headquarters in Stiðjagøta 6, Tórshavn.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet volunteers, see how second-hand clothes are collected, sorted, and priced, see displays of our relief work, hear reports from humanitarian operations, see how the Samaritans function, and learn about alleviation projects in the Faroes and internationally. For the kids, it will also be possible to attend children’s first aid (sign-up here).

The second-hand shop in Stiðjagøta 6 will also be open from 10.00 to 17.00 with lots of nice clothes, special offers and a fashion show.

Additionally, we’ll sell hot dogs, coffee, tea and cake to all visitors – all profits go to the Red Cross.
