This 12-hour comprehensive course is often a prerequisite for acceptance in some universities (for example, for degrees in nursing), or some workplaces, such as guides, instructors and so on.
You will learn first aid in connection with:
- Heart failure, with and without AED.
- Emergencies at the workplace, at home or sudden injuries or illnesses.
- Electrical accidents, choking, burns, bleeding, fractures, sprains and head/neck injuries.
- Assessing persons, calling for help and psychological first aid.
- Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an internationally certified first-aid certificate. You will also be given a first-aid handbook and other course materials.
The cost of this course is 700,- króna per participant.
